From frustration to solution
The idea for Groupz did not originate in a conference room, but in the middle of practice. "In my own hotels I noticed how group bookings were always a drain on energy: endless email exchanges, errors, frustration. With bookers and employees alike. During corona, we dissected more than a hundred bookings with our team and regular group bookers. There lay the seed for Groupz: the process had to be smarter, faster and more human."
Practice as engine
As founder, Niek is the driver of development. He translates daily hotel practice into a system that really adds value."I test everything with the people on the floor. No buttons to make the system more beautiful, but solutions that free up time. Time for what hospitality is all about: the guest."

"When a hotel says: if only we had had this earlier, that's when I know we're making a difference. Teams get energy back, employees have room for the guest again, and bookers finally feel like they're being taken seriously. That's what we do this for."
